Who are we? Simply put, we are registered architects, civil engineers and surveyors. As a member of the American Institute of Architects, D’Anna Associates’ registered professionals are also NCARB certified for reciprocity in virtually all jurisdictions nationally. Furthermore, our commitment in practicing responsible architecture is reinforced by encouraging and supporting our personnel through the LEED certification process.

Established in 1980, D’Anna Associates has evolved into a rigorously innovative and dynamic professional architecture studio whereby the creation of inspiring, imaginative, and feasible solutions is realized. Our practice has always been based upon functioning as a multidisciplinary collaborative, and we’re constantly broadening our resource structure to assure our operations utilize cutting edge technologies and methods to support our clients at every stage of the development process - from conceptual analysis to building design, construction and beyond. D’Anna Associates has held a reputation of delivering effective architecture via services that perform as processes of thorough analysis, communication, and ethical practice to achieve successful solutions.

Our work has varied greatly throughout the years, from styles to typologies, from North America to Europe, however one thing remains constant, we have always maintained the ability to take on all project types and services no matter how we change as a firm. We believe that limiting our areas of expertise and attempting to specialize in one or even a few project types diminishes our potential and eliminates opportunities. From year one, we’ve valued the diversity each staff member brings to the design table, it makes us who we are – from youthful vision to veteran experience and knowledge, collectively, produce rich designs that are thoroughly engineered.

We don’t practice to attain international acclaim, win awards, or create an identifiable aesthetic. Our press and praise is simply garnishment to the satisfaction of our clients, because our services after all are not about us, but about you. Our job is to produce ideas in collaboration with our clients to be able to execute designs that produce structures for the better our clients and ultimately our surroundings as whole. Remember, you make the decisions – form follows function, but if you want, function can certainly follow form.

We function as an open studio, encouraging collaboration between the various levels of diverse professionals that comprise our staff, enriching creativity and innovation. At the center of our team is the client. It is our objective to adopt our clients as active members of the design team – to ensure that they are part of establishing the character of the structures that house their endeavors.
